About Downtown St. Augustine’s Food Scene

Restaurants in downtown St. Augustine are among the most popular destinations in Northeast Florida for mealtimes. This is because dining downtown is more of an experience than a bite to eat. Families, couples, friend groups, and individuals can look forward to specialty drinks, mouthwatering appetizers, beautifully (decorated) plated entrees, and delightfully dangerous desserts – and let’s not forget about the relaxing ambiances, picturesque views, and live music you’ll find in many eateries. Furthermore, we can guarantee that whatever food you’re craving is sure to have a home in a downtown restaurant.

From the second-best pizza in the world to datil pepper infused delicacies to a Southern twist on traditional plates, there is a special dish for everyone downtown, even if you’re dining with a picky eater! Additionally, nearly all the restaurants are locally owned and fresh, healthy food is prioritized as many restaurants have a farm-to-table or sea-to-table mentality. As if it could get any better, you’ll find countless eclectic options!
