Winner Chosen in St. Augustine’s History with Heart Contest!

St Augustine Historic Inns (SAHI) recently launched "History with Heart", a fun contest on their second website 450years.com. We asked for creative stories, videos, poems, and photos that show why the oldest city is so unique. The prize package entails two tickets to the upcoming Tony Bennett concert at the Ampitheatre. The theme was "Why Tony Bennett Should Leave His Heart in St. Augustine"!

After receiving numerous creative entries, three finalists were chosen based on voting from visitors to the site. The final winner has been selected by a judging panel consisting of Saint Augustine’s very own innkeepers. The winner goes to two talented gentlemen out of MD who created a fantastic video entry named "They Even Have a Trolley". Watch this super video now on 450years.com and tell us what you think.

The 450years site was recently established in recognition of St. Augustine’s upcoming 450th commemoration in 2015. The site contains a world of information leading up to the big celebration; including events, history, and updated St. Augustine news articles. In additon, the site welcomes comments, stories about St. Augustine vacations, and ideas for the city’s commemoration under the contribute tab.
