Are you looking for something fun to do in St. Augustine during December? It’s that time of year again! The ever-popular 23rd annual St. Augustine Historic Inns Bed and Breakfast Holiday Tour is just around the corner. The tour will be enjoyed by all on December 10th & 11th.
This tour has been recognized as one of the Southeast Tourism Top 20 Events and is a highlight of St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights Celebration. Every year a theme is chosen and the b&b’s decorate according to that style. The theme for 2016 is “Christmas Through The Years”. As an added benefit, each Inn partners with a local restaurant. It is a great opportunity for those visiting St. Augustine to try out the different flavors of food the city has to offer. This tour is a self guided walking tour. Each ticket will include a tour booklet with a map and list of inns on tour, and a goodie bag. You will be able to start at any Inn and go in any order. A free trolley will be offered; however, some walking will still be required.
There will be 23 inns to tour this year. You can view 11 inns on Saturday and 12 inns on Sunday. This year there will be two bonus locations on the tour. On Saturday, December 10th, ticket holders will be allowed to tour the Ximenez-Fatio House Museum, and on Sunday, December 11th, the Peña Peck House Museum.
Tickets: $35 per person during September, $40 starting October 1, and are good for both days of the tour. The tour is rain or shine. The cost of the ticket includes the free tastings as well as the trolley.
Starting October 1st tickets will be available for purchase at Metalartz, (58 Hypolita Street) and Rembrandtz Fine Gifts, (131 King Street).
