Tour the former Hotel Ponce de Leon, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built by millionaire developer Henry Flagler in 1887, the Ponce s was one of the most exclusive resorts of its day. It is considered to be one of the finest examples of Spanish Renaissance architecture in the United States. The hotel is now home to Flagler College. Public tours include the opulent Grand Parlor, the Dining Hall and the towering dome of the Rotunda, each richly decorated with beautiful allegorical images. Tour times are 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and last approximately one hour. Tours depart from the main lobby (Rotunda) of the college located at 74 King Street

Admission: 7 for adults and $1 for children under the age of 12.

Be a guest of the St. Augustine Lighthouse and enjoy viewing the sunset and moonrise from the most unique perspective in all of St. Augustine! This special event includes a champagne toast, provided by San Sebastian Winery, atop the tower and an informative overview of the history of the St. Augustine Light Station. The fee for the event, which includes a champagne toast, provided by San Sebastian Winery, and light refreshments, provided by The Reef.

Music by the Sea

A favorite end-of-the-month event, Uptown Saturday Night takes place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. the last Saturday of every month in the Uptown San Marco Shopping District, St. Augustine. Galleries, antique stores and unique shops between Ripley’s Museum and the Mission of Nombre de Dios remain open during this special time. Meet the artists, book signings, live music, refreshments and other events contribute to the party-like atmosphere. The Mission of Nombre de Dios provides FREE PARKING for Uptown Saturday Night.
