Tour the former Hotel Ponce de Leon, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built by millionaire developer Henry Flagler in 1887, the Ponce s was one of the most exclusive resorts of its day. It is considered to be one of the finest examples of Spanish Renaissance architecture in the United States. The hotel is now home to Flagler College. Public tours include the opulent Grand Parlor, the Dining Hall and the towering dome of the Rotunda, each richly decorated with beautiful allegorical images. Tour times are 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and last approximately one hour. Tours depart from the main lobby (Rotunda) of the college located at 74 King Street

Admission: 7 for adults and $1 for children under the age of 12.

Rangers and Garrison volunteers will demonstrate the weapons and relate the experiences of the colonial Spanish soldier of 1740s St. Augustine. Historic weapons demonstrations will be presented at 10:30, 11:30, 1:30, 2:30, & 3:30. Firing times are subject to change depending on weather conditions and staff availability.
Location: Castillo de San Marcos
Hours: 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily
Admission: $6 for adults, children under 15 free when accompanied by an adult

First Friday Art Walk

Enjoy the latest exhibits, music, entertainment and refreshments at over 20 participating galleries and a special 6 p.m. concert performance at the St. Augustine Cathedral Basillica. Tours begin at Rembrandtz American Craft Gallery, 131 King Street. Galleries are open from 5 to 9 p.m. St. Augustine Sightseeing Trains and Old Town Trolleys offer attendees a complimentary shuttle service to most of the galleries. Shuttles run on a continuous loop every 30 minutes.
