Imagine an evening filled with fine art, unique artisan crafts, a free concert by the band Dakota, mystifying magic by William Mayhem, the Blue Lotus Bellydancers, face painters and more. Gather around the 35 foot watchtower and toast to the Raising of the Flag ceremony. Indulge you culinary senses in our new section “Gourmet Food Samplings Around the Mercado”. Everything from Spanish wine, Manchego cheese, Serrano and Iberico hams, Chorizo, assorted olives, and other Spanish foods to unique sauces, dips, jellies and fresh cottage industry pasta. Sit under the 200-year-old Colonial oak tree adorned with colorful lanterns while enjoying fabulous food and beverages offered by the Taberna Del Caballo and the Bull & Crown Publick House.
It all takes place under the stars at The Downtown Bazaar on the grounds of the Colonial Quarter, 33 St. George St., St. Augustine, Florida, 6-10 p.m. The evening at the Downtown Bazaar is free and open to the public. Artists, artisans, Ancient City Poets, William Mayhem magic, Blue Lotus Belly Dance plus the River City Blues Band perform on the main stage and Bob Burnes on Dulcemer in the back stretch on the art path.
Admission to the Colonial Quarter is free and open to the public for this special evening event, and is pet friendly!
