While you are staying in St. Augustine for your relaxing vacation, you don’t want to miss First Friday Art Walk. The first Friday of the month is a much-loved tradition in St. Augustine. The galleries open their doors from 5-9pm, offering new art exhibits and receptions that are open to the public. Hop aboard the FREE Art Walk trolleys that run throughout downtown during the evening. There will be great nibbles, drinks and music. The Art Galleries of St. Augustine is the group that puts on the First Friday Art Walk each month.
With almost 30 wonderful galleries in St. Augustine, we have something for everyone here. You can really find anything that peaks your interest. Whether you are into paintings, sculpture, glass, metal art, jewelry or photography, everything that you can think of is offered at the eclectic galleries of St. Augustine.

In order to make your tour of the galleries during Art Walk easier. We are going to list the galleries that are right in the Old Town area for you here with a little about each one. We’ll use the plaza as our central location to move out from.
To the North of the Plaza:

This is a wonderful gallery that is in a restyled 1920s garage. There is a wide variety of contemporary works that are a treat to the eye. Don’t miss this one.
